  1. At first, let me comment on that picture: Awesome!! I really like your blog design and the background. The background is so peaceful and the birds flying makes it even more so. You picked a great style to do the title with! Looking at your blog makes me want to fix mine as mine is really boring haha. Again, it looks really great!

  2. Intriguing Storybook subject! I love it. Reincarnation. Life after life. I talk about this in some of my work as I feel like I was a warrior and lion in past lives hahaha. This is a great topic of storytelling. Stories are reincarnations if you think about it. Many things are reincarnations. I will say that the picture kinda creeped me a little haha. Like a demon lady. It made the tone of what I was reading seem scarier than maybe you intended. But i'm also about to watch a scary movie so these influences could be the case. I love the line "It’s either live or live again." Beautiful. The erie cover picture of the foggy woods also influenced me. I like the feel thus far. Keep it up. Let me know if it get scary haha. I'll be checking back soon!

  3. "Plus, too much testosterone can kill you. And I mean really kill you. Just speak to all of my ex-husbands."

That line is glorious and now I am so, SO intrigued. The artwork that you chose for the introduction is just absolutely beautiful and it definitely adds a creepy sort of vibe to the overall tone of your story. The idea of you being able to gather the stories we've read so far and tell them as a sort of flashback for this character is interesting and it'll be interesting to see how you do it.

The theme of the post - the cherry blossoms, font size, font color, etc. - works well, too. If you can, the only thing I'd suggest changing is to see if there's a way you can changed the colors around a bit - just to something a little bit darker if you want to keep on with the creeper theme. How you present something visually is really important in trying to bring the reader into the world you're creating.

  4. WOW! I really love the theme for your storybook project. It is so different. It is an awesome idea to tie all of your stories together! The introduction being titled “about me” was just brilliant! I also love the colors you chose and the pictures! The way you set this up made it very ominous and had me wanting to read all of the stories to find out more about what happened to your ex’s. I also think the idea of reincarnation is so interesting so that drew me in even more because it is such a mystery subject for most. It made me even more curious as to why she kept making the same mistakes if she could remember her past lives. I really would like to find out in these stories what makes her so special that she can remember her past lives. You can do so much with this project and I can’t wait to see the end result! (also, your blog design is superb!)

  5. This storybook I feel is really going to interest me a lot! I love the idea of multiple lives, and telling the story from each of them. Wanda seems like a funny chick, which makes me want it more. Most of these stories are serious, and I like how you added humor to yours. I like how you say, “they forgot to press the stop recording button” it totally makes sense! Instead of an introduction you used about me, it’s different and I like it. Your page has good colors, and a good font so it is easy on the eyes. If a page has too much I feel it is harder for me to follow along with the story and I don't pick up as much as I should have. Hopefully your stories will become just as awesome and humorous as I think they will be. I can't wait to read them!

  6. Hi Michelle!!

I love love LOVE how you’ve been able to incorporate so much of your storybook’s personality in just one post. I like Wanda already she seems so sassy. I also really like that each of your stories will feature a different life and reincarnation of Wanda. That is so interesting and your introduction left me wanting more. I also feel that your storybook layout really fits your theme. I feel like the tree looks like a cherry blossom and you already mentioned that your story is rooted in Japan, so it’s really fitting. The only thing I’d suggest is maybe using a different font? I just feel that since your main character has so much personality and will be shifting through different lives of different people maybe having a different font for each story could help differentiate all of it!! But overall I think you have a great storybook already and I look forward to reading more.
